Simplexity Jailbreak Tweak Revamps The Concept Of Multitasking

If you are bored of the same old iOS 4 multitasking/app switcher, then we have the perfect tweak for you. iOS 5 brought many new features like the notification center. What if you could have that type of design with the app switcher? Now you can with Simplexity!

With Simplexity, you get a newer way to multitask and kill running apps in the background on your iDevice. This tweak allows you to “Slide to quit” running apps in the background on your iDevice just as you would on the lockscreen if you got a new notification to unlock as shown in the image above. This is a lot easier than having to hold the icons and wait for the notorious “wiggle mode” and then have to tap each single red badge to kill the apps. To go to an app in the Simplexity multitasking, all you have to do is just tap on the icon and it goes to that app.
Not only can you do all of this with Simplexity, you can also swipe to the right and get all of the other things you would normally get while multitasking such as music controls and volume. But this tweaks adds a little more. You can adjust your brightness, music controls, volume, and there is even a “Kill All Apps” option.
This is really quite amazing as well since it’s incredibly easy to access these controls with Simplexity. What’s nice is the same developer made a tweak called “switcher loader”. This app comes preinstalled with Simplexity and allows you to edit what you see in the controls portion of Simplexity. Maybe you don’t want your music controls or Wi-Fi settings, you can use switcher loader to choose what you want in or out of the Simplexity controls.
You can get Simplexity from Cydia for $2.99. All you need to do is to jailbreak your iOS device.
