Steve Jobs just announced that Apple Don’t Track Anyone, Android Does

While Apple is yet to officially respond to iPhone location tracking saga, but despite being on a leave of absence from Apple, CEO Steve Jobs apparently has responded.

MacRumors is reporting that one of their readers sent an email to Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs, asking for clarification on iPhone location tracking, at the same, also hinting about a switch to Google’s Android if an explanation is not given.
Q: Steve,
Could you please explain the necessity of the passive location-tracking tool embedded in my iPhone? It’s kind of unnerving knowing that my exact location is being recorded at all times. Maybe you could shed some light on this for me before I switch to a Droid. They don’t track me.
A: Oh yes they do. We don’t track anyone. The info circulating around is false.
Sent from my iPhone
While the authenticity of this email cant be verified at this point, but if it is to be believed, Jobs has denied the claim, implying the fact that Apple isn’t tracking iPhone or iPad users with the data stored locally on the device, while Google on the other hand does on Android phones for their core business, that is search and advertising.

iPad 2 Jailbreak Caught on a Video ! It Looks Real !

Look what we've received today from one of our readers who would like to remain anonymous. The tipster sent us two videos for a jailbroken iPad 2 which seems to be real. We don't know how real is it but we wanted to share it with you.

As mentioned in the descriptions, the hacker uses a loader to install Cydia (in above screenshot) similar to what Limera1n does. Watch both videos below and tell us what do you think in the comments section below.

We've sent the Dev-Team for a word on how reality is it. Till then, follow our site for more news.

Cydia will Coming to Mac Soon!

Apple has been working hard to try to make the Mac App Store possible. Now, Saurik the creator of Cydia app store for iOS devices has announced that he is going to bring Cydia for the Mac!

According the TUAW, Saurik made this astonishing announcement at 360|MavDev giving an overview of his upcoming Cydia for MAC OS X, Cycript, and Cydia Substrate.
Currently, Cydia Installer has been used by about 10% of all iPhone users, or about 10 million devices. There are well over 30,000 packages available for iOS, and a lot of open source material can be downloaded from Cydia. He refers to Cydia as a store for things that are not apps, but extensions of what iOS devices can do.

Freeman felt that the same type of store would be useful for Mac OS X devices; the result is a Mac Cydia, which will be available "within weeks." With today's news that the Mac App Store will not support in-app purchases, something that is critical to the freemium app model that is so successful in the iOS world, a Mac Cydia might be just the web store for a number of Mac developers.
This is a very huge advance for the jailbreak scene. Not only will there be jailbroken iDevices, now it's being expanded for Mac! This will be out within weeks! Any developers interested in trying to get their app into Cydia for Mac is always free to contact Patrick at saurikit.com

Apple Trying T-Mobile USA’s Carrier

As Apple is following AT&T from the creation of iPhones, now Apple guys thought about a little change and moved a head to T-Mobile. Now Apple is trying T-Mobile’s carrier for it’s beloved iPhone. It’s not sure that will Apple give AT&T’s job to T-Mobile. The main thing to look at is the iPhone 4 which is used, first of all we want to remind you that the normal iPhone 4 which is GSM has an internal model of N90 the Verizion’s piece which is a CDMA is N92 while this iPhone 4 working on T-Mobile’s carrier has a different model and i.e N94…. Now we want you guys to have a look back on the video which described a new type of Multi Tasking UI in iPhone 4, now this iPhone 4 is also running on iOS 4 but with different features.

It means these both things have relation, so this was the stuff revealed by BGR this morning. You can check out the whole Gallery from here.
It’s a new option in this Device which was running on T-Mobile and that was Carrier Settings… Ping, FTP, HTTP testings, is it new or not ??

and more and moreover to this :P

The above feature was to come up with iOS 5. Now no one has an idea what is the story behind this, Will Apple give it’s carrier control to T-Mobile or a a new iPhone 4 will be launched via T-Mobile with new features.
