Meteoric Download Manager: manage our downloads directly from the iPhone [Sample image from gallery]

The possibility of downloading directly from the iPhone is managed only through dedicated applications. iPhoneItalia has been trialling exclusive Meteoric Download Manager.

Meteoric Download Manager, available on the AppStore from next June 30, is an excellent application to make downloading directly from the iPhone.
Many built-in functions: File Manger for downloaded files, Media Player, browser access to the application, integration with Dropbox.

But let's see how it works.
Once you start the application immediately after the splash screen will display the integrated browser.
We see the operation of the various icons. At the top we have:

  • Search function: to search on Google;
  • Download: selecting the down arrow, you just paste the link to download.

Italian - detected to English translation

In the lower part, however, are laid the following icons:

     Icon tile puzzle: Enables a menu with which seconod potermo send information by mail, print them on AirPrint Open the default browser, view all the links in web pages displayed;
     Down arrow icon: download our list we both concluded that the tail / running;
     Icon Files: acedia directly to the integrated file manager;
     Play Icon: we can access the media player to listen to or view your music and movies;
     Double-arrow icon: we will be directed to the general settings of the application.

What makes this application unique is its extreme simplicity.

If you want to download, just enter the URL and enter any name for the download (instead it will use that file).
Without this, the application will download the file.

In tests in the 3G network, the download was performed without problems.
A clarification: I have tried to download a megaupload link. Unfortunately it is not managed, but displays the HTML file associated with the countdown of seconds.

Recall that Meteoric Download Manager, distributed in two versions for the iPhone and iPad, will be officially released on the AppStore 30/6/2011
