How to Enable Multitouch Gestures on iPhone 4 / 3GS / iPod Touch 4G / iPad!

Jailbreaking sure is fun. Apple recently, in iOS 4.3. to be exact, teased everyone with multitouch gestures on iPad. They never released it in the final version though. It was for developers only and for testing before making it all perfect and clean for consumers. But, they never removed the code or whatever the heck is going on behind the iOS. So there was this complex way of enabling it through Xcode and which requires a developer account with Apple.
So anyways, news is we have a new tweak in Cydia to activate multitouch gestures on your iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G. Unfortunately this doesn’t work on iPad 1 at the moment. But the developer is trying to find a solution for that.
[ Update ] The guide has been updated, now supports iPhone 3GS and iPad. Enjoy!
Enable Multitouch Gestures
You need to have a jailbroken iPhone 4 or iPod Touch on iOS 4.3 or iOS 4.3.1. Here are the guides to Jailbreak using Redsn0w, PwnageTool for MAC and Sn0wbreeze on iOS 4.3.1.
Here is how to enable multitouch gestures on your iPhone 4 or on an iPod Touch 4G:
[ Update ] There are now two procedures for this. The second procedure works on iPhone 3GS and iPad as well.

Procedure 1

1. Go to Cydia.
2. Go straight to “Search” tab in the bottom.

3. Type in “ MT Gestures”.
4. Tap in the app and from the top right Install it.

5. Once installed, head over to “WinterBoard” and find MT Gesture settings and enable them.

Procedure 2 to Enable Multitouch Gestures on iPad and iPhone 3GS

1. Open Cydia
2. Go to Manage > Source > Edit > Add and type in “iphone.gsm.vn”
Cydia Repo
3. Once you have the repo added, go to Search from the Cydia bottom bar and type in “MT” you’ll find couple of options. MT Gestures (WB) version worked for us so give it a try. You can also try the other options according to your device. Tap on a version to install it, your device will reboot.

4. After the reboot open Winterboard from General > Settings > Winterboard or from the icon on your springboard. Go to themes section and enable Multitouch gestures for your device. Respring and you are done.

Let us know if there are any issues or if its not working for you. Those with the working Multitouch tell us how you feel. We know the screen is really small to use four or five figures but still it is coming in the next iOS, probably in iOS 5.
These are the gestures this tweak supports:
Close fingers to get back to Homescreen (with four or five fingers);
Scroll up or down to show/hide multitasking tray (with four or five fingers);
Scroll left or right to switch between apps (with four or five fingers).

Now You Can Unlock iPhone 4 Basebands Without Use Of Gevey SIM Interposer (Video Proof)

As we know there was no proper iPhone 4 baseband unlock solution available, and many of iPhone users are hoping free of cost software based unlock solution from iPhone Dev Team and some of them are gone with Gevey SIM Interposer which brings you to unlock your iPhone Baseband but it costs, so guys like always we come up with another interesting thing here, now you can unlock your iPhone 4 baseband without the use of any SIM interposer.

Well Well, guys you think that we are making you fool or just doing crap, so guys you are wrong we really come up with shocking news, here is a guy with name of “Dill Huang” who comes up with the new thing. He tested two SIM’s on his iPhone 4 which was carrier locked Bell Mobility Canada to demo the 112 exploit used by iPhone baseband without GEVEY or any SIM.  He named the SIM’s with (SIM A & SIM B), SIM A is un-official SIM and SIM B is a test SIM which is on another carrier (Vodafone), but has a “test” IMSI instead of real value.

As shown in video, DillADH aka Dill Huang, inserts SIM A in his iPhone 4 and dials 112 and hangs up immediately (within 2 sec). He then toggles to Flight Mode and removes SIM A and Inserts SIM B and then Turns-off the Airplane Mode. Now your iPhone 4 Baseband is Unlocked!  We just got this information from this source.

Sherif Hashim Gives a Shot to Gevey SIM For iPhone 4 Unlock!

hen you had seen the topic you might ave freaked out saying Sherif Hashim used Gevey Sim, damn we are in deep trouble. Today on his Twitter account he Tweeted that:
just used gevey i4 sim to unlock iphone 4, works nice, by far better performance than old ones (of the iphone 3g) specially for 3G data.
He used Gevey SIM to Unlock an iPhone 4. According to him the current version of Gevey SIM is much more better than the previous ones he used.
You people might be thinking that if he used Gevey SIM to Unlock an iPhone 4, then we should forget about Utrasn0w and use this Gevey SIM or Rebel SIM Card.
He also clarified that the Gevey SIM is no Match for Ultrasn0w, but a Temporary solution for those who are waiting for the Unlock.
still no match for ultrasn0w ofc, but a solution for those stuck for now :/
Why no match for Ultrasn0w? Because Ultrasn0w is a software based Unlock and it is for free. Thouht Gevey SIM costs about 70$+.
When he declared Gevey SIM as a temporary solution for the Unlock for ihone 4 baseband so a user on twitter asked him if Sherif Hashim has given up from the Unlock part. Serif hashim relied.
@sherif_hashim If sherif too is using a gevey, then it’s really a bigg concern for us!!
@SuperstarPranav lol no, i m only trying it, as much people where asking about it :)
This doesn’t meas tat the Dev-Team gave up on Unlocking. The are working on it and this is a Temporary Solution for those who are waiting for ages. The choice isyours either wait more or go for Gevey or Rebel SIM CARDS.
