Camera + Updated To V.2.2.1 with Sharing Via SMS Features

TapTapTap announced the update of the popular iOS camer app, Camera+, which comes with performance and stability enhancements and a new SMS sharing feature. Also, to celebrate its 1-year anniversary, the app is nowon sale…

Here are the release notes for it:

One of the major features that was slated for version 2.3, but we left it in here in 2.2.1 is SMS sharing. Note that we’re sharing photos via SMS and not MMS and the way that we’re doing this is toupload your photos to our server and then setup an SMS text message with a relatively secure URL for your photos.

This isn’t a perfect solution by any means, but our hands are tied because Apple doesn’t currently provide 3rd-party developers with a way to create MMS messages with attachments, unfortunately. Apple’s own apps are free to do this, though. Hopefully they’ll level the playing field someday.

Jailbreak iOS 5 Resn0w 0.9.8b1 Released - iPhone 4, 3S, iTouch 4G, 3G, iPad 1

As I reported you few minutes ago, Dev-team was successfully able to release first jailbreak for iOS 5, dev-team has released Redsn0w 0.9.8b1 tethered jailbreak for Mac only so far. Redsn0w 0.9.8b1 download links, supported devices and full details after the jump. Please read the entire article as there's some restrictions and advices that you should be aware.

If you see a white icon for Cydia, or if Cydia or Safari crash when you open them, it’s because you didn’t boot tethered.

The way redsn0w works, you will very likely be able to use this on upcoming iOS5 betas, just by continuing to point redsn0w at the 5.0b1 IPSW. So keep that IPSW handy!

How to Activate iOS 5 without developer account

Step 1: Triple click the home button to activate Voice Over
Step 2: Triple click the home button and Emergency Call will appear.
Step 3: Click on Emergency Call and, while it's switching, swipe with your three fingers down.
Step 4: The Notification Center will appear!
Step 5: Click on the Weather widget and wait for the weather app to load.
Step 6: Click on the home button to exit to the iPhone's springboard.
